Your night on the water aboard a 10-metres speedboat

Aboard the Edonia, you'll spend one or more nights alongside the quayside and discover the friendly atmosphere of the pontoons and life in the port.

L’Edonia est une vedette Beneteau Monte Carlo de 10 mètres de long et de 3,3 mètres de large, qui peut accueillir jusqu’à 4 personnes.

It is moored just 5 minutes' drive from La Rochelle city centre, in the Minimes port, the largest marina in the world. You can park your car in the free car park opposite the entrance to the pontoon.

Just 500 metres far away, there are plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.

An interior layout with 4 sleeping areas

The aft cabin has a double berth with a 160 x 200cm king-size mattress. It has a number of storage compartments, including a wardrobe with hangers, independent heating and a 220v socket..

The second double berth is in the forward end of the saloon (also with a 160 x 200cm king-size mattress). Here you'll find the same facilities as in the aft cabin (with 3 220v sockets).

An interior fitted out like a flat

Like a flat, the Edonia is made up of :

• A sofa area with a fully-equipped kitchen (gas stove, fridge, microwave, 25-litre water heater).
• A 16:9 television with DVD player (no DVB-T), interior and exterior speakers (in the boat's cockpit).  
• A bathroom : hot water, marine toilet with integrated tank (waste water is not discharged into the sea).

Outside, it's time for sunbathing

Outside, a saloon can accommodate up to 8 people. Deck fittings include an outdoor grill, a 2nd fridge, a sink, a long chair with a view aft, a cockpit shower and 2 12V sockets.

You can sunbathe at the front of the boat (mattresses for 2 people) or in the outside saloon (convertible table).

Last but not least, the boat comes with a full canopy to protect you from the wind and bad weather.

Practical information :

• The price is 145 euros per night on the quayside. A deposit of 30% is required on booking.
• This price includes : the fully private boat, bed linen and crockery.
• This price does not include towels. Cleaning during and at the end of your stay is your responsibility.
• Night-time opening hours : from 6.30pm to 10am.

Boat rental at the Minimes Port  in La Rochelle

The landscape of the Pertuis Charentais is one of the most beautiful on the Atlantic coast.

Would you like to hire a boat in La Rochelle, for a day or several days, and sail around Fort Boyard, Aix or Ré Island ?

If you have a coastal boating licence, you can hire the Edonia independently. If you don't have a boating licence, a skipper will be able to accompany you on your outing.

The Edonia – Technical details :

• The cockpit of our Edonia is equipped with a RAYMARINE C 120 colour instrument panel with a 12-inch screen, a GPS/plotter, a graphic sounder and a radar with a 2 Kw - 24-mile radome antenna. The unit is connected to the chart plotter for overlaying radar/plotter images. For added safety, VHF DSC NAVICOM.

• The boat has 2 Volvo Penta diesel engines, each with 190 hp. It can reach speeds of up to 30 knots. The boat is equipped with a bow thruster to make easier manoeuvring in the port.

• It has a shallow draught (1.10 m), is 10.05 m long and 3.30 m wide. Its air draught is 2.93 m (EC category: B8). The boat has a 160-litre freshwater tank and a 490-litre diesel tank.
